This book is a personal viewpoint of the Usui System as taught to Dave
King over a span of more than 30 years. Much of the information was
provided by Tenon-In, one of five Buddhist nuns who had worked with
Usui between 1920 and 1926. Additional material was provided by
several other surviving students of Usui as well as his Japanese
teachers Onuki-sensei and Tatsumi-sensei. Within its 100 pages can
be found information on the events preceding the creation of
the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai and the
Hayashi Reiki Ryoho Kenkyu-kai as seen
through the eyes of some of his surviving students. Within the book
can be found diagrams and tables outlining the development of the
system and an insight into the origin of the term "Reiki" that has
become associated with Usui's teachings.
