Radiance

Something I might mention in a Reiki or channeling class is the idea of "energy radiance." That is, with each new energy you connect with, you begin to automatically radiate more and more higher vibrations of Light all the time. These new energies, including Reiki, begin to become a normal part of your aura's ongoing vibration.

When you work with Reiki, or your Highest Ki, or any other high healing vibrations they tend to increase the amount of natural radiance you have. Some of these even show up in an aura photo (click on the image to the left.) This can also include working with spirit guides, angels, etc. And as your radiance increases, you tend to affect those who are around you, influencing them with your energy field.

This can be a good thing as like moths to a flame, your radiance can draw to you certain types of people, or it can at least influence others in ways they aren't quite aware of. This can lead to you experiencing more and more people who are "like-minded' and are on similar spiritual paths. For example, when you stay in one place for a long time, like a job or the place you live, some people find they are drawn to you, perhaps feel a need to be around or near you, and even an urge to interact with you.

However, another side to this effect is that others may actually have to avoid you, move away from you, or find another job because your energy is too overwhelming for them, or they are just not quite ready for that kind of influence. Most likely they are unaware of why they have this urge, but usually they tend to find "logical" reasons to have to move out of your sphere of influence. They may not even recognize that you are the source of any kind of energetic influence.

In some cases, this may be a bit disturbing as certain friends and family members may suddenly stop calling or visiting. It may take them a bit of time to get used to your new energy radiance. and hopefully eventually they will reconnect with you; but for a time they may cut down the amount of interaction they have with you. Try to be patient with them, perhaps send them Light or energy as a gift to use in any way their Higher Self deems useful, and hopefully they will one again be in sync with your radiance.

Others may simply disappear from your life, like many did when you left school. But sometimes it works to your advantage when people you and others found challenging to be around, suddenly are nowhere to be found, having moved on. This can be a bonus for your workspace or neighborhood as this allows more "breathing room" and harmony to emerge. Again, send these people energy or Light so that they will find a place where they fit in well and can develop.

Another unwanted side effect might be some of those people who are drawn to you, who might require more of your attention than you expect or have time for. Their own vibrations may not be as developed, and they are coming to you for some kind of assistance or learning. In a way, they are like "moths to a flame" hoping to improve their own radiance in the presence of yours. So what can you do about those moths?

Well, one thing you can do is use your Spirit Guides (you need only just ask) to call higher Light to you and place an ongoing huge "hepa filter" around you that shifts any of their poorly developed energy (emotions, etc.) coming towards you into soft, undisturbed energy. Or, ask them to fill your filter with energy that simply changes the unwanted energy into higher Light and bounces it back to them. as a return gift In some extreme cases, you might even imagine creating a parabolic reflector that redirects (and concentrates) any unwanted energies back to the originator to get their attention (sometimes that causes them to stop), although that might be a bit nasty.

What is probably going on here is that these people (at their Higher Self level) are presenting you with opportunities to practice working with unwanted energies, and to cause yourself to radiate so much that you finally grow beyond them (i.e. they no longer bother you.) Eventually you can grow to see these people as little children annoying you, or demanding to be with you. I think you know what I mean - you will see their acts (and them) as child-like and will easily rise above them. Think of people you know who in certain situations seem to be unaffected by the negative energies and emotions displayed by others, and can calmly deal with them. They may have the radiance and inner energy that allows them to handle those types of emotions and actions. Eventually you too can grow to think and act more clearly when dealing with these situations.

If you already think of yourself as a Light Worker or World Server, then Radiance is one of the key tools you will use to not only enhance your own experience, but that of those around you.
