Copyright Info - Making Use of Threshold Web Pages

This audio glossary was originally begun by me in 2007, with great assistance from Herman Peet of the Netherlands and Katsuko Kiuchi (our speaker) of Japan.   The project was intended as part of a way to assist Herman with his Japanese URR Gakkai style Reiki classes, and was quickly embraced by Katsuko and me.

Please be aware that with any translation there can be several choices as to the meaning of a word or phrase in another language.  Our translations into English are the result of studies with Japanese teachers and other sources very close to students of Usui Sensei, the URR Gakkai, Dr. Hayashi Sensei and Eguchi Sensei, and we are very grateful to all of them.  Also, be aware that as with any language, there may exist many dialects in a country, and thus many variations of pronunciation.  Katsuko-san grew up and  lives in the greater Tokyo region of Japan.

For information on pronouncing Romaji words and phrases, please search the Internet as there are many excellent web sites that explain this.

I realize that many people will want to download the mp3 sounds files. If you do so, please do not rename the individual files as they each include the location of this web site.

I hope you enjoy our contribution to your Reiki and Japanese education.

Thanks.
Rick Rivard
