Threshold Anecdote - Channeling New Energies

- Threshold Reiki Anecdote - This page is one of a series where I share a personal experience or anecdote related to my Reiki work. The pages are also intended to give you some "food for thought" and add to your overall Reiki knowledge base. While the experience has been my own, I feel that you should decide for yourself how much (if any) of the content has any usefulness to your own Reiki work. Back in March 1995 I had recently learned TMR Reiki from founder KM. At this time I had also taken channeling training, as well as Awakening Light Body training from Carla Anderson here in the Greater Vancouver area, BC. I was quite impressed at the time with the TMR energies and when I learned that KM had an advanced system called TMS with 3 new energies (S, SE and AL) I looked into how I could get training in these as well. I had hoped to go to Sedona USA to learn these, but the class cost $2000 and I didn't have the money for this, let alone to get to Sedona. A couple years earlier I had read "Opening to Channel" by Roman and Packer and had actually had success with connecting to a very high virational family of beings from an alternate reality (they used the term "Nova" as a reference.) But until Carla helped me, I couldn't channel Nova the way I thought one was supposed to (i.e. verbally.) Because her class also had a component to call in energies, I later asked Nova if they could help to bring these TMS energies to me. I remembered that KM had said in her book that at least 2 others would connect with these same energies. Nova was happy to assist and I was surprised not only how strongly the energies began to resonate within me, but at how these new energies felt (just like it said in KM's book). Still, I wasn't sure they were the exact same. So when I went to my usual Reiki Master Reiki share I asked the other masters if I could try these in a treatment. They agreed and so I activated them one at a time. Although I was only intending that the person on the table experience them, everyone else began to feel them strongly and comment on them. They too had the same impressions as what was described in the book. I began to play with these, and even added them into an attunement ceremony with some other energies. It was sort of an all-in-one type of thing. This wasn't something I was teaching, just a bit of exploration, although I did share this with some friends. When one of my students from the UK (AR, a clairvoyant) returned to Vancouver with her husband on a visit, I practice this attunement on them and received good feedback. A few years later when AR was attending one of KM's non-Reiki workshops in the UK, before the class began KM suddenly walked up to her (KM did not even know AR at the time) and said "You took your Reiki training in Canada, from a man named Richard Rivard, didn't you?" When AR affirmed that she had, KM asked if she could give her an attunement so that she could compare the energies. AR agreed and after the attunement KM told her to sit with the energies and afterwards she would ask what the difference was. AR said she didn't have to wait and that there were no differences. She said KM didn't say anything and finally began the workshop. 6 months later AR came to the TMS class and realised then that what KM had attuned her to in the previous incident was not the TMR I had learned from her, but instead it was to the TMS energies. KM had inadvertently proved that I had acquired the same energies from my guides, Nova. Over the years, wth Nova's help and that of some of my other spirit helpers, I have been able to easily acquire the energies of people's symbols, other energy systems as well as many other energies no one I know has ever talked about. While I do not certify peopel in these other energy systems unless I have taken that training as well, I do teach people in the channeling class how to do this right in class. I feel there are many others who are able to do this as well, that this is becoming common, so I encourage students to explore this ability with the help of their new highest guides. I show them how to use this abiity in a healing session, and also in just explroing a new energy. I suggest that if they are intersted in attending a new healing or energy system taught by another, they can "check out" the energies in advance, plus the energy of the teacher. Then, if they still feel the need to attend that class it may be because they are going to be using or teaching that system, or they may simply be about to meet someone in the class important to their life path.
