where I give my ideas on aspects of Reiki and/or energy work. The pages
are intended to give some "food for thought" and some are only my
viewpoint. While a number of facts may be included, you should decide
for yourself how much (if any) of the content feels right to you.
I find it interesting that after working with a useful technique many times over a period of 18 years, that I might still forget to call on it when I need some improved results for challenging areas in my life. I learned one such powerful yet simple idea when I first began my “Awakening Your Light Body” training in 1995. In a way I suppose it could be considered an extension or modification of the Nentatsu Ho idea of the original URR Gakkai in Reiki.
Rather than just thinking positive affirmations or visualising and feeling the results I would like, this technique works with the concept of imagining that whatever the problem is, you think of it as energy. If you are able to see or sense energies well then this might be quite easy for you. You can even find the area in your body or aura that is beyond the physical and focus on it. If you are like me when I first began working with energies like Reiki, you might have to guess what this energy might look like. This becomes a bit more challenging if you are an analytical or “thinker” type of person like me.
To work with this idea, just pick something in your life that seems to be a challenge. Perhaps your normal affirmation process needs a bit of help or you feel results could come a bit faster. So try this:
2. Now imagine applying Reiki, Light and/or whatever healing or higher energies you have learned or are working with. Your Highest Ki is a great one to use for this as well.
3. Now this is the important part. Try to make the energy of this issue as beautiful as you can. Imagine how it would look if it was being resolved, if the energy it is made up of is now flowing and working in harmony with the rest of your energy bodies.
4. Do this for as long as you feel it is necessary. You might take a break and then work the issue or challenge again.That’s it. Give it a try and see if this helps. Remember there are many ways, many techniques and energies you can learn to help you work through your challenges. If one isn’t seeming to get results, try another. Trust that you will be led to these.
