This Note
is one
of a series
where I give my ideas on aspects of Reiki and/or energy work. The pages
are intended to give some "food for thought" and some are only my
viewpoint. While a number of facts may be included, you should decide
for yourself how much (if any) of the content feels right to you. Have you been wondering about how you might improve the effectiveness of your Reiki energy work? Have you thought about using Reiki for more than just healing or balancing purposes? Using Reiki in Everyday Life was encouraged even in the original Reiki society, the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai. They encouraged members to meditate with Reiki, perform self healing, assist others, and even Usui Sensei encouraged living his Gainen or concepts throughout the day (not just reciting or chanting them). Over time, as you gradually integrate the Reiki energy you experienced in class, you should consult your teacher for re-attunements, just as they were offered in the original URR Gakkai. Much like learning music, this re-exposes you to the teacher's version and allows you to increase your potential with Reiki, attaining a more exact frequency and more possible output. As you work with this shift, it can also be a catalyst for growth in your own personal development. As a Reiki Teacher, perhaps you might find ways to offer these re-attunements, maybe at a Reiki Share like the Reiju-Kai the original Masters used to hold.
