of a series
where I give my ideas on aspects of Reiki and/or energy work. The pages
are intended to give some "food for thought" and some are only my
viewpoint. While a number of facts may be included, you should decide
for yourself how much (if any) of the content feels right to you. Have you found
yourself still searching for more once you completed all your Reiki
training, or once
everything you learned seemed to have settled in? Some people are
quite content with Reiki 1 to satisfy their needs for healing and
personal growth in that area, and that is certainly a good thing.
But others may continue to explore all the levels and even other
varieties of Reiki or different healing
methods. A good number come to an end in that direction
and wonder if they could, or even should, be learning more. If
so, where might one turn to next?
 For many years I've been
sharing some of the resources I've explored and enjoyed at my Light Body
Threshold page. Some of these have had a profound impact on my
journey and my life. The most amazing and useful one for
me has been learning to consciously channel spirit helpers, guides,
angels, nature beings, etc., not only in my healing work, but in my
daily life as well. It has become the main source of my energy work.
In 1975 I was drawn to read channeled
books, beginning with the Seth works.
Then finally in 1993 I
explored this ability on my own, mainly as a result of the book Opening
To
Channel. A couple years later I improved on this with some local
training from a student of the authors, Carla Anderson.
Originally, like many of us I
thought channeling involved giving readings for yourself and
others, acquiring advice and understanding on life's challenges and
one's
own life path. But as I began to work with channeling in greater
detail and teaching classes, I found there were additional areas I was
called
to explore that were more intense and significant for me. And in
each class I taught I was discovering uses that seemed much more
beneficial to many of my students.
Some time ago I wrote an article (Reiki and Channeling) explaining some of this, but really the benefits apply to all energy and Light workers, not just Reiki. There are a few good resources available that can explain channeling to you, but this book is by far the best I have found. The Luminessence web site also offers cassettes to go with their book. Or if you feel you prefer the personal touch, I am available to teach classes to small or even very large groups. Either way, this might be the answer you have been looking for. It has certainly been the most powerful and safe resource I have yet to find. But then I've only been searching for 37 years.
